Bangkok, Semporna, jungle and co

Since last time we went in holidays and we took much more pictures. The plan was to update the website once a week, but it's look like it will be more once a month than anything. Anyway, I will try to share with you this new load of pictures.

Depuis la derniere fois, nous sommes partis en vacances et nous avons encore ramene plein de photos. L'idee premiere etait de mettre a jour ce site une fois par semaine, mais en fait ce sera peut etre plus une fois par mois!!! Bon enfin bref, je vais essayer de partager avec vous ce nouveau lot de photos.

So first of all, we went for a weekend in Bangkok to remind us a lot of memories from last year (and to eat some decent food!!!). It was really nice and really nostalgic. (snif) We visited a lot of temples, saw few monks, and meet a very cute little girl.

Alors tout d'abord, nous avons passe un week-end a Bangkok pour nous rappeler pleins de souvenirs de l'annee derniere (et pour manger de la nourriture digne de ce nom!!!). C'etait super sympa et tres nostalgique. (snif) Nous avons visites pleins de temples, vu quelques moines et rencontre une petite fille trop mignonne.

Then, we came back to Malaysia for a week of dive. The town of Semporna was a quite a big change compare to Bangkok! Between dives we went to the fish market, and it was amazing as I was trying to see a Manta ray underwater since ages, and all I had to do was coming to this market!!! Well it was more some small pieces of manta that I saw! Anyway, we had been welcome by a lot of kids who took poses in front of my camera. Really fun.

Ensuite nous sommes revenus en Malaisie pour une semaine de plongee. La petite ville de Semporna nous a fait un vrai choc en revenant de Bangkok! Entre deux plongees nous avons fait un tour au marche au poisson. Moi qui essayais vainement de voir une raie manta sous l'eau, et bien tout ce que j'avais a faire c'etait de venir au marche!!!! Enfin c'etait plutot de la raie manta coupee hachee menue! Et encore une fois nous avons ete accueillis par une foule d'enfants qui posaient devant ma camera. Moments bien sympa.

That's all for our holidays. Back to Tawau we managed to escape from work one sunday afternoon to go climbing until a trail on top of trees in a hill next to the city. On programm: quite high monkey bridges, fantastic view of Tawau and the sea, and... a lot of sweat as we arrived just at the closing time! Hills jungle walks: very tiring but fantastic!

Voila voila pour nos vacances. De retour a Tawau, nous nous sommes echapes du boulot un dimanche aprem pour monter jusqu'au chemin de canopee sur une des collines aux alentours de la ville. Au programme: ponts de singes a quelques dizaines de metres du sol, vue superbe sur Tawau et la mer, et... transpirer sang et eau car nous sommes arrives juste a la fermeture! Marche dans la jungle avec un sacre denivele: crevant mais super.
